Our Products
All Wisdom of Light products are handmade. As a result, slight variations in colour, finish, weight, or appearance may naturally occur. These differences are part of the charm and individuality of handcrafted items.
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, and pricing are accurate. However, images are for illustrative purposes and the final product may vary slightly.
Candle & Wax Melt Safety
Our candles and wax melts are created in accordance with UK safety guidelines and include appropriate safety labelling.
By purchasing our products, you agree to follow all provided safety instructions. This includes:
• Never leaving a burning candle unattended
• Keeping candles away from children, pets, and flammable materials
• Burning candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface
• Not burning candles for longer than four hours at a time
• Discontinuing use when the wax reaches the recommended level
Wisdom of Light cannot accept responsibility for damage or injury resulting from misuse or failure to follow safety guidance.
Prices & Payment
All prices are listed in GBP (£).
We reserve the right to amend prices at any time. However, this will not affect orders that have already been placed and confirmed.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the available payment methods displayed at checkout.
Orders
Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in circumstances including, but not limited to:
• The product becoming unavailable
• Errors in pricing or product description
• Suspected fraudulent activity
If payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, a full refund will be issued.
Shipping & Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website. During busy periods, product launches, or seasonal demand, dispatch times may vary slightly.
Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or events outside of our control.
Shipping costs are clearly displayed at checkout before purchase.
Free Shipping
Free shipping may be offered on orders that meet a specified minimum spend. This promotion is subject to change and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
Returns & Refunds
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.
Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of candles, wax melts, or accessories that have been used, burned, opened, or damaged.
To qualify for a return:
• Items must be unused and in their original condition
• You must contact us before returning any item
• Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect
Refunds will be processed once returned items have been received and inspected.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of the item and packaging.
Where appropriate, we will arrange a replacement or issue a refund.
Gift Cards & Promotions
Promotions, discount codes, and gift cards are subject to their own specific terms and may be amended or withdrawn at any time.
Discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders.
